We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician / Experienced Apprentice to join our busy service team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, engine, transmission, suspension, brakes, steering, and electrical components.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive issues effectively.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements.
- Maintain detailed repair records and communicate clearly with customers regarding repair procedures and timelines.
- Stay current with industry trends including new automotive electrical systems, GM vehicle technologies, and emerging repair techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred; relevant mechanic experience is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in automotive diagnostics and schematics interpretation.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward clients and colleagues alike.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
