Overview
Gibson Welding Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Vac Truck Operator to join our growing team in Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
We are a family owned and operated established oilfield service provider and offer a stable and fast paced work environment.
What you'll do:
- Adhere to all applicable traffic laws, regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, site personnel, and customers
- Follow all company safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture.
- Be responsible for oilfield turnarounds
- Tank cleaning
- Sucking down flowlines
- Oil spill clean ups
- Cement jobs
What you bring:
- 3A License required.
- Ability to organize work and manage crews effectively
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving abstract.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Strong work ethic and a reliable attendance record.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with the job, including lifting and securing of materials.
- Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time.
Bonus points if you currently reside in Southeast Saskatchewan or have:
- Previous Vac truck experience
- Knowledge of the Weyburn and surrounding areas.
- updated required safety tickets (first aid, H2S Alive, CSO, etc.)
