Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Financial Controller to oversee and manage the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth. This role requires strong expertise in accounting software and financial analysis, with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Duties
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct account reconciliations regularly to verify the integrity of financial data.
- Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for cost savings.
- Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans aligned with organizational goals.
- Utilize QuickBooks and other relevant platforms to maintain financial records efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits and prepare necessary documentation.
- Provide strategic recommendations based on financial data to support decision-making processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar senior accounting role.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other accounting platforms.
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and practices.
- Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting processes.
- Excellent skills in account reconciliation and account analysis.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate insights effectively.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.

Pay: $130,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
