Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Microbiology Lab Technician to join our research and production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting microbiological testing, analyzing data, and ensuring laboratory procedures meet industry standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to product safety and quality in a dynamic laboratory and production. Candidates should have laboratory experience and strong analysis skills to succeed in this position.
Responsibilities
- Perform microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products following established protocols
- Collect and record data accurately during testing procedures
- Analyze test results to identify trends or deviations from quality standards
- Operating laboratory equipment, prepare media, and performing analysis
- Document all laboratory activities thoroughly in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Assist in the development and validation of new testing methods as needed
- Support quality assurance initiatives by providing detailed reports and insights
Experience
- Prior laboratory experience, especially in microbiology labs preferred
- Strong understanding of quality control processes within a laboratory setting
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and interpretation of scientific results
- Solid math skills for calculations related to dilutions, concentrations & chemistry
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and proper handling of biological samples
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accuracy in testing and documentation
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
