Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to maintain the cleanliness and functionality of our facilities. This role involves performing cleaning tasks, basic maintenance, and ensuring the environment remains safe and welcoming for staff and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to facilities upkeep, and experience in commercial cleaning or facilities maintenance. Scheduling:
- Tuesday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Thursday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Saturday: 12:00 AM - 4:00 AM
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizing surfaces
- Ensure all areas are kept in a safe and orderly condition by adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and ensure proper storage and usage of equipment
- Monitor the condition of the premises regularly and perform preventative maintenance when necessary
Experience
- Prior experience in cleaning services or facilities maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is a plus
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks with attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with reliability and punctuality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety guidelines
