Role Description
This is a full-time position at Guliker Design Group Inc., with responsibilities including:
- Architectural drafting using Autodesk Revit Architecture for various projects, such as custom homes, additions, renovations, tenant improvements, and commercial buildings.
- Coordinating with consultants, including structural engineers, civil engineers, architects, mechanical engineers, QEPs, energy advisors, surveyors, and others.
- Communicating with clients and consultants via phone and email to ensure projects stay on schedule.
- Occasionally visiting job sites to measure existing buildings, take photographs, and gather necessary project details.
Note: The successful candidate will not be expected to take on all responsibilities immediately but will develop skills and expertise over time as experience and confidence grow.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Google Calendar, Gmail, and Google Docs
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a polished appearance
- Knowledge of the 2024 BC Building Code
- Experience with Lumion software is an asset but not required
- Construction experience is a great asset.
- Typing speed minimum 30 wpm
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
