Overview
We are seeking motivated and skilled Landscapers to join our dynamic team. This role involves working outdoors on various landscaping projects, including garden design, maintenance, and construction. Ideal candidates will have a passion for horticulture, landscape maintenance, and construction work, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Responsibilities
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching to ensure aesthetic appeal and health of outdoor areas
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators and other construction equipment safely and effectively
- Install irrigation systems and manage their maintenance to ensure proper water distribution
- Use hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, digging, and other landscaping activities
- Assist with construction projects such as retaining walls, patios, walkways, and other outdoor structures
- Conduct gardening activities including soil preparation, fertilizing, pest control, and plant care
- Maintain equipment through routine checks and mechanical repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Skills
- Experience with excavators, irrigation systems, gardening, and horticulture techniques
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and construction methods
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and repair of power tools and machinery
- Ability to handle hand tools safely and efficiently in various outdoor conditions
- Strong understanding of plant care, soil management, and pest control strategies
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor over extended periods in outdoor environments
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards
