Windsor’s Dry Cleaning Centre is looking for a dependable Dry Cleaning Presser and Utility Team Member to join our team.
The main responsibility of this position will be pressing and finishing garments to a high standard. The successful candidate will also assist in other areas of the business as needed and will receive training in different parts of the operation, including sorting garments, preparing completed orders, helping with laundry and serving customers at the front counter.
Previous dry-cleaning or pressing experience would be an asset, but we are willing to train the right person. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, pays close attention to detail and is interested in learning different areas of the business.
Responsibilities
- Press and finish garments using professional pressing equipment
- Inspect finished garments to ensure they meet our quality standards
- Sort, organize and prepare completed customer orders
- Assist with loading and unloading laundry equipment when needed
- Keep pressing stations and other work areas clean and organized
- Help with other duties throughout the plant as required
- Learn how to serve customers and process orders at the front counter
- Work with other team members to complete orders accurately and on time
- Follow workplace and equipment safety procedures
Qualifications
- Previous pressing, dry-cleaning, laundry or garment-care experience is an asset, but not required
- Willingness to learn pressing, customer service and other areas of the business
- Strong attention to detail
- Dependable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks
- Able to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of quality
- Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
Work schedule
Work hours will be scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday. This is primarily a weekday, daytime position. Saturday shifts are not normally required.

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
