Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food and beverage service, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. Responsibilities
- Take accurate orders from customers for food and beverages, ensuring timely service
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in accordance with safety standards and company policies
- Use POS systems like Micros POS for order entry, billing, and cash handling
- Serve food items with attention to presentation and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns promptly
- Assist in setting up the bar area before shifts and cleaning up after closing shifts
Skills
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or orders efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and bill splitting
- Effective communication skills to interact clearly with guests and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
