Shimco continues to grow and we have positions available in our CNC Machining department for senior CNC Machinists. We are looking for individuals that have the following:
- Minimum of 7-8 years experience operating 3-axis CNC vertical milling machines
- Set-up experience mandatory
- Experience in a high-mix, low-batch volume environment
- Able to operate measuring tools (callipers, gauges, etc.)
- Strong computer skills, as we work in a paperless environment
- Able to work under tight deadlines
- Has a can-do attitude and works well with others
- Minimum high school diploma
- Either a Permanent Resident of Canada or have Canadian citizenship
- Able to work in a Canadian Controlled Goods company (minimum no criminal record)
