Halton Hills Hydro Inc. is currently seeking a dynamic, highly motivated individual to fill the position of Customer Care Representative. This position reports to the Customer Care Manager and is responsible for all aspects of customer service including billing and relocation inquiries (by telephone, email, letter, fax or in person), collections, deposits and work orders.
DUTIES:

Handle incoming customer inquiries (via telephone, website and in person);

Collection duties and Customer correspondence for residential and commercial accounts;

Run work orders and organize for meter reader and billing;

Understand rates for hydro and water;

Plan, organize, and monitor 4,000 budget customers for spring and fall reconciliation;

Review inactive balance report and process bankruptcies;

Report water to Halton Region, while tracking payments and balances for final accounts;

Calculate security deposits and review each year;

Train new representatives and document procedures;

Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Grade 12 education obtained;

Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), as you respond to a variety of customer inquiries and concerns, with best in class customer service;
- High attention to detail; ensure high level of accuracy with numbers;

Superior listening skills to clearly understand situations presented and determine course of action;

Strong organizational skills; reliable with a professional manner;
- Ability to deescalate customer through trouble shooting and problem solving; customer interactions include on the phone, front counter or through email;

Above average computer skills, with demonstrable experience using Microsoft Excel and Word with ease;

Must possess the ability to work with minimal supervision in order to meet strict deadlines; must cope well under pressure.
