Summary
We manufacture factory built water treatment plants, we are looking for a skilled and motivated Laborer / Assembler to support the assembly of industrial pumps, piping systems, and fittings. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys working with tools, following instructions, and being part of a team that builds high-quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist in the assembly and manufacturing of water treatment systems.
- Assemble industrial pumps, piping systems, valves, and fittings
- Measure, cut, and prepare pipe and materials accurately using saws and hand tools
- Follow drawings, instructions, and direction from supervisors/Leads
- Assist in the installation and assembly of systems in shop and on-site
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Support general shop and construction activities as required
- Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or mechanical assembly environment preferred
- Familiarity with piping systems, pumps, or industrial equipment is an asset
- Basic safety training (WHMIS, PPE use) is an asset
- Proven experience operating forklifts and power tools.
- Strong mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing and assembly.
- Ability to work effectively in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Prior experience in water treatment or environmental sectors is a plus.
