Temporary Opportunity – Maternity Leave Replacement
This position is being offered as a temporary maternity leave replacement. While there is no guarantee of permanent employment, Verbeek Kitchens & Bath will consider the successful candidate for future opportunities should a suitable position become available.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cabinet Designer / Sales Consultant to join our growing team.
Position Summary
The Cabinet Designer / Sales Consultant is responsible for guiding clients through the design and purchasing process, creating functional and beautiful spaces, preparing quotations, and managing projects from initial consultation through completion.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and sales and takes pride in delivering an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners, builders, renovators, and contractors to discuss project requirements.
- Design kitchens, bathrooms, and other cabinetry projects using 2020 Design software.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations.
- Conduct showroom consultations and product selections.
- Perform site measurements when required.
- Coordinate project details with customers, installers, suppliers, and internal team members.
- Ensure all orders, specifications, and documentation are accurate and complete.
- Follow company procedures regarding purchase orders, change orders, and project documentation.
- Manage projects from sale through installation and completion.
- Maintain strong customer relationships and provide exceptional service throughout the project lifecycle.
- Consistently work toward achieving sales and gross profit objectives.
Qualifications Required
- Proficiency with 2020 Design software or similar software
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to read floor plans and construction drawings.
- Valid Ontario driver's licence and reliable transportation.
- Honours Bachelor of Interior Design or Interior Decorating Program or comparable
Preferred
- Experience in kitchen and bath design.
- Knowledge of cabinetry construction, countertops, hardware, and installation practices.
- Experience working with builders and renovation contractors.
- Sales Experience

Compensation
Compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and sales performance.
Pay: $35,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
