Job Title: Sports Store Associate

GENERAL SUMMARY
We are currently searching for a full-time Sports Store Associate to oversee and consult with patients in need of bracing and support products in a busy multi-disciplinary Sports Medicine Clinic. The individual will be responsible for helping patients with a variety of conditions such as osteoarthritis, sports injuries, chronic injuries, and inactivity, as well as educating patients on use of our products. The best candidate will be a self-motivated kinesiologist who is able to think outside of the box to provide patients with the best possible solutions for their bracing or support needs. This role will also be responsible for general oversight and administration of the store including organization of stock, tracking inventory and regular reporting.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Consult with patients in the Sports Store to provide guidance and assistance with off-the-shelf and custom bracing products.
- Assist with product sizing and provide expert recommendations based on patient needs and clinical requirements.
- Educate customers on the proper use, care, and maintenance of products to maximize effectiveness, comfort, and compliance.
- Meet and exceed established monthly sales targets and other performance metrics.
- Process product sales by accurately posting charges, processing payments, issuing customer receipts, and ensuring all transactions are completed in accordance with organizational policies.
- Collaborate with Sports Medicine Physicians, rehabilitation providers, and administrative support staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to prescribing Physicians and the multidisciplinary team regarding patient needs, product utilization, and follow-up.
- Stay informed about new products, technologies, and best practices in sports medicine and rehabilitation.
- Coordinate with suppliers by submitting orders, tracking inventory and sales, following up on deliveries, and resolving product-related issues.
- Assist patients with the completion of private insurance forms to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation for reimbursement.
- Perform general administrative duties, including maintaining accurate sales and patient records.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven clinical experience with injuries and treatment protocols, ideally in a sports medicine or rehabilitation setting.
- Experience with bracing at another clinic is highly beneficial.
- Enthusiastic and outgoing personality with a proactive approach to building relationships and providing consultative customer interactions.
- Strong team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment, collaborating effectively with healthcare professionals and colleagues.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding performance competencies and sales targets in a competitive retail or healthcare environment.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, adapt to evolving procedures and priorities, and remain flexible and responsive to customer needs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory levels effectively to ensure product availability.
- Proven history of reliability, organization, detail orientation and dependability.
Required Length and Type of Experience
- 1-3 years of working experience with injuries/treatment protocols
- 1-3 years of customer service and experience managing inventory levels
Required Licensure, Certification or Registry
- Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology or proven related education and experience.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.
The salary range reflects the expected compensation for this position. The final salary offered will be determined based on a holistic assessment of the candidates’ experience, education, training and alignment with the role’s expectations.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
