Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Auto Glass Shop Helper to assist with daily operations in our automotive repair facility. This role involves supporting technicians with various tasks related to auto glass installation and repair, ensuring efficient workflow and support the daily operations of the shop through maintenance and cleaning duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with automotive service.
Responsibilities
- Assist technicians with removing and installing auto glass components using hand tools and power tools
- Prepare vehicles for glass replacement or repair by cleaning and disassembling parts as needed
- Handle heavy lifting of glass panels and automotive parts safely and efficiently
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the shop area, including tool storage and work surfaces.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment.
- Perform general shop maintenance and housekeeping duties.
Experience
- Previous automotive or labor experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials safely.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- Valid driver's license is REQUIRED.
