We are seeking a dedicated Shift Operations Supervisor to join our team. The Shift Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and maintaining high standards of quality and employee engagement.
Duties/Responsibilities/Procedures:
Operations:
*Creating and nurturing an environment that promotes and values employee engagement and ownership for their results. Do it right the first time.
*Ensuring that employees follow safe operating practices and are competent to safely perform their job function.
*Ensure the shift is staffed appropriately, including call outs as required without violating labor laws.
*Ensuring that the employee's Manager is made aware of high performers as well as any opportunities to improve an employee's performance.
* Execution of the shift production objectives ensuring the goals are met for the shift.
*Effectively communicate to the other shift supervisors and managers any issues or concerns that may have an adverse effect of achieving the business objectives (immediate, short, and long term).
*Completing and submitting standardized shift reports (scorecard) comparing actual performance vs. goals including but not exclusive to safety performance, environment performance, # of tubes/hour throughput, quality performance, delay performance, issues/concerns, actions, etc.).
