Position Summary:
The Manager, Account Management is responsible for providing strategic insight across all media into a client's business in order to develop the most creative and cost effective and efficient media communication plan. They are responsible for providing strategic insights and input into the overall client strategy and media allocations. In addition, they will be the lead in developing overall strategic planning and analysis of non-digital media (broadcast, OOH).
This role is specifically for a popular global travel and hospitality client
Responsibilities:
- Train and mentor juniors and manage their day-to-day workload
- Develop strategic media POV's
- Work with internal team members and client on developing an overall strategy and media allocation
- Develop media plan for non-digital media (TV and OOH) and present to clients
- Ensure execution of plans
- Assume ownership of plan revisions due to budget or strategic changes
- Build solid relationship with buyers and account groups
- Assist Strategy Supervisor on client deliverables
- Liaise directly with clients
- Utilize OMNICOM's internal OMNI platform
- Broaden knowledge and understanding of partner agency disciplines
- Utilize all available (industry) media measurement tools
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Professional or educational background in Marketing and/or Advertising would give leverage to this application
- Experience in leading integrated media planning projects and teams.
- Experience within an integrated advertising agency. Knowledge of media research tools (e.g. Clear Decisions, Vividata, Neilson), and media tools (e.g. Prisma) will give leverage to this application
- Client service oriented.
- Curiosity, with a passion for continuous development.
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
