We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced QA Software Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications by designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated test strategies. The candidate should possess strong analytical skills and work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create comprehensive test plans and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using defect tracking tools.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
- Execute API testing using tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
- Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, product managers, and DevOps teams to ensure product quality.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Validate software releases and support production deployments.
- Prepare test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Continuously improve testing processes, automation coverage, and QA best practices.
Required Skills
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
- Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in manual and automation testing.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, or similar automation frameworks.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C# for test automation.
- Experience with API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or Swagger.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Experience using defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.
- Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience testing cloud-based applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes environments.
- ISTQB Certification is an advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Pay: $80,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
