PBS Truss Manufacturing Ltd. is a 24,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Coldstream, BC. The production facility was completed in December 2024, and production is well underway! Our new facility offers a clean, modern working environment where you can thrive as part of a collaborative, skilled team.
About the Role
We’re looking for reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as an Assembler on our production line . In this role, you’ll be responsible for assembling wooden trusses and wall panels using automated equipment and hand tools, ensuring each product meets exact specifications and quality standards.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday position, with the added benefit of steady, year-round indoor work—say goodbye to weather delays and seasonal slowdowns.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble wooden trusses and wall panels according to specifications, ensuring high-quality and accurate workmanship.
- Operate and maintain automated assembly tables and other production tools and equipment.
- Inspect materials and completed products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and moving materials within the facility as needed.
- Support other production activities such as cutting materials, stacking products, or preparing orders for shipping.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and processes.

What We’re Looking for in You
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or a related field is an asset (truss plant experience preferred).
- Experience using production tools such as component saws (multi-blade or single blade machinery) is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and willingness to follow safety guidelines.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, and stand for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with varying noise levels.
