At Opal Shores Resort, we believe great guest experiences begin behind the scenes just as much as they do front of house. We are currently looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Steward to support our culinary team and help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.

As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll play an important role in keeping our kitchen operations running smoothly. Your responsibilities will include:
- Washing dishes, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment in a timely manner
- Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Assisting with garbage disposal, recycling, and waste management procedures
- Sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing floors, workstations, and storage areas
- Helping kitchen staff maintain an organized and safe working environment
- Restocking cleaning supplies and kitchen essentials as needed
- Supporting chefs and kitchen staff with basic tasks when required
- Following health, safety, and food sanitation guidelines at all times
We’re looking for someone dependable, team-oriented, and ready to contribute to a positive work environment.
You’d be a great fit if you:
- Have a strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness
- Can work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Are able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights when needed
- Work well both independently and as part of a team
- Have previous experience in kitchen cleaning, hospitality, or restaurant environments (preferred, but not required)
- Are flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed
