We have an immediate Fulltime opening for an Industrial Laundry Attendant/ Delivery Truck Driver (Commercial License is not required) Truck is a 15ft cube van. We are a specialized facility serving the Industrial Sector, and the Firefighting Industry. Previous experience in laundry services would be considered an asset as is experience driving a vehicle larger than a car.
Job will entail daily pickup and delivery of garments at an industrial plant facility in Pictou County. Upon arrival back at location dirty garments will be catalogued, tagged, weighed, documented and loaded into the washers; after washing, garments will be transferred to dryers, and then folded, and packed for transport back to customer the next day. The successful applicant must be in good physical condition and able to lift a large amount of laundry bags into the truck, some of which weigh as much as 40 pounds. Shift is Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 7:00pm and every second Saturday 7:00am to 7:00pm.
Applicants MUST have a valid Nova Scotia Drivers License and competent driving this size vehicle.
