Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety, cash handling, and hospitality standards to deliver an exceptional experience. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.
Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Toast & silverware
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their dining experience
- Take orders, serve drinks, and handle cash transactions with precision and accountability
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Restock bar supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth service during shifts
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
- Collaborate with team members to provide seamless service in a fast-paced environment
- Uphold food handling and safety protocols at all times to ensure guest safety and satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in bartending roles
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work in a hospitality environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and attentiveness
- Must be at least 18 years old (or age required by local regulations) to serve alcohol
