Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician / Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle makes and models
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid replacements
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs efficiently
- Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components with precision and care
- Lift heavy parts or equipment as needed, adhering to safety protocols
- Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and timelines
Skills
- Proven experience as an Automotive Service Technician or Mechanic, preferably in a dealership setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repairs or maintenance tasks
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Customer service orientation with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients
- Experience with vehicle assembly and disassembly processes
- Knowledge of maintenance procedures for various vehicle systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Certification: Automotive Service Technician Journeyperson Ticket / Red Seal Endorsement (or Registered 3rd/4th Year Apprentice).
This position is integral to maintaining the high standards of our service department by ensuring vehicles are repaired accurately and efficiently while providing outstanding customer care.
Pay: $23.84-$35.00 per hour
