Aunt Lucy's Doggy Daycare & Pet Hotel is looking for a Part-Time/Casual Dog Daycare Attendant to join our team! We are a busy, fun, and dog-obsessed facility in Abbotsford and we take pride in treating every pup like family.
We are currently looking for individuals who have weekday afternoon availability (Monday - Friday) — this is a must. Weekend availability is also preffered and will be given preference!

Duties
- Supervise and engage with dogs during playtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Monitor dog behaviour and intervene when necessary to prevent conflicts or accidents
- Maintain cleanliness of the daycare area by regularly cleaning up after the dogs, sanitizing play spaces, and general upkeep of indoor and outdoor areas
- Provide fresh water, food, and medications to dogs according to their individual care instructions
- Communicate clearly with pet owners regarding their dog's day, behaviour, and any concerns that arise
- Assist with heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or larger dogs as needed
- Participate in team training to build skills in dog handling, behaviour, and customer service

- A genuine love for dogs and a strong understanding of dog behaviour and body language
- Weekend availability — Saturday and Sunday shifts are the priority for this role
- Weekday afternoon availability is a strong asset
- Strong attention to detail when recording notes and information on each guest
- Excellent communication skills with both teammates and pet owners
- A team player who is reliable, punctual, and takes their responsibilities seriously
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting in an active, sometimes loud environment
