Terrafix is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to support continued growth throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Reporting to the Sales Director, Eastern Canada, this role is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering value-driven geosynthetic solutions to clients across the civil construction, infrastructure, and environmental sectors.
The successful candidate will lead the full sales cycle, from prospecting and opportunity development through quotation, project execution, and ongoing account management. Drive revenue growth, market share, and profitability within the assigned territory.

Identify and secure new business opportunities with contractors, consultants, developers, municipalities, and project owners.

Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans aligned with regional sales objectives.

Prepare accurate, timely, and professional quotations, proposals, and presentations.

Manage and advance opportunities through the sales pipeline to successful close.

Consistently achieve or exceed established sales targets and performance metrics.

Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and opportunity records within the CRM system.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

Develop a thorough understanding of client needs and project requirements.

Recommend and position geosynthetic products and engineered solutions that deliver measurable value.

Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the customer journey.

Collaborate with Customer Service, Operations, and Technical teams to ensure exceptional customer support and project execution.

Represent Terrafix at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the territory.

Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business strategy and product development.

Maintain a strong understanding of industry standards, applications, and best practices related to geosynthetics.

3 to 5+ years of successful sales experience within construction, civil infrastructure, industrial, or related markets.

Experience selling geosynthetics, engineered products, or technical solutions is strongly preferred.

Post-secondary education in Business, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Construction Management, or a related discipline is considered an asset.

Strong understanding of civil construction practices, project cycles, and stakeholder relationships.

Proven ability to build credibility and develop long-term customer partnerships.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Strong organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently within a territory-based sales environment.

Experience using CRM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, or similar systems.

Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the assigned territory.

Territory-based role focused on the Greater Toronto Area.

Regular travel to customer offices, project sites, and industry events.

Approximately 30% to 40% travel required.
