You will have a set schedule of Tuesday - Saturday 10:30am - 6:30pm. Responsibilities
- Take accurate orders from guests for food and drinks, ensuring clarity and attentiveness.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, following all safety and quality standards.
- Use POS (Point of Sale) systems to process transactions quickly and accurately.
- Handle credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Provide friendly, attentive customer service to create a welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management and organization skills.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant or food industry settings, with a strong background in food service or bartending.
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and transaction processing.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques.
- Strong time management abilities to prioritize tasks during busy periods.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, bill splitting, and accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations and responsible beverage service practices.
