Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and common areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have prior hotel experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Operate laundry equipment to wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and guest clothing
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and thoroughly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Assist with additional housekeeping tasks as needed to support overall hotel operations
Qualifications
- Previous hotel housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
- Basic knowledge of laundry processes and equipment operation is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Ability to lift moderate loads and stand for extended periods during shifts
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and commitment to guest satisfaction
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.51-$19.51 per hour
