We are seeking a reliable and professional full time night and day shift Taxi Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills and a strong commitment to customer service. As a Taxi Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers to their destinations while providing a pleasant and efficient travel experience. This role requires effective time management and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Taxi Driver based in Niagara Falls, ON. The Taxi Driver will be responsible for transporting passengers to their desired destinations in a safe and timely manner. Daily tasks include picking up passengers, assisting with loading and unloading luggage, vehicle maintenance checks, and maintaining cleanliness inside the vehicle. The Taxi Driver will also handle payments and provide excellent customer service to ensure a pleasant experience for all passengers.
Requirements
- 3 year uncertified drivers abstract
- Minimum 3 years of valid G license in Canada
- Proof of insurance from driver's insurance company
Qualifications
- Automotive skills, including vehicle maintenance and basic car troubleshooting
- Sales skills, especially in handling payment transactions and maintaining positive customer relations
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Knowledge of the Niagara Falls area is a plus
- Previous taxi driving experience is beneficial but not mandatory
Note: Please be advised that this role operates on a commission-based pay structure, meaning earnings depend on the number and value of trips completed rather than a fixed hourly rate.
