.Overview
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Server/Bartender to join our dynamic team. We are the bar serving a wide range of Japanese-influenced food.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide exceptional customer service in a lively environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced setting. Previous experience in food and beverage service is required.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and take their food and drink orders accurately
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, in accordance with established recipes and safety standards
- Deliver food orders promptly and ensure guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, dining areas and washrooms
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age for alcohol service
- Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently
- Assist with setting up dining areas for service and special events
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and address any concerns or requests promptly
Experience
- Prior experience as a server is required. Training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- Knowledge of standard drink recipes, POS systems, and responsible alcohol service is a plus
- Must have Smart serve.
- Knowledge of Japanese food is a plus
Pay: $17.60 per hour
