ALCO Energy Solutions designs, fabricates, and assembles oil and gas processing equipment for the domestic and global market. Alco is seeking B-Pressure Vessel Fabricators to work within our production facility. This is a night shift position, hours will be 4:00pm to 2:30 am.
NOTE: We are not accepting Rig Welders at this time
Duties include but are not limited to:
Reporting to the department foreman, the successful candidate’s duties include, but are not limited to:
- The ability to use tools and equipment safely, while abiding by health and safety protocols
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, and helping others maintain their work area
- Intermediate to advanced fabrication experience in pressure vessel manufacturing
- Fitting and Welding of pressure vessels to meet drawing and code requirements
- Working at heights is required, training will be provided
Preferred Skills:
In this role, the successful candidates will have:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in fabrication and welding of pressure vessels
- Pre-access Welder Qualification testing required
- Ability read interpret blueprints and welding procedures
- Ability to weld with the following processes: GMAW-RMD, SMAW, FCAW, and MCAW
- Perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication, positive attitude, collaborative skills, and ability to follow directions
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs, work at heights, be agile and work on/off equipment, up/down ladders
Working Conditions:
- You will work in a large manufacturing facility with other trades present
- Longer than 10.0-hour workdays may be required with short notice, must be available to work weekends when needed
- Working indoors
