Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth salon operations. This role involves managing appointments, handling inquiries, and supporting the overall client experience. Bilingual skills and proficiency with technology are highly valued to enhance communication and service delivery in our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly and professionally upon arrival, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Manage appointment scheduling using POS systems and maintain organized calendars
- Handle cashiering duties including cash handling, basic math, and processing payments accurately
- Upsell salon services and retail products to maximize client satisfaction and sales opportunities
- Conduct product demos when appropriate to educate clients about available services and merchandise
- Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure merchandising displays are appealing
- Assist with client inquiries via phone, email, or in person, providing knowledgeable assistance in multiple languages if applicable
- Support the salon team with administrative tasks to ensure efficient daily operations
- Manage time effectively to handle multiple responsibilities during busy periods
