Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs
- Clearly explain repair estimates, service recommendations, and maintenance options to customers
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs and ensure timely completion of services
- Upsell additional services or maintenance based on mechanical knowledge and customer needs to enhance vehicle performance and safety
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and maintain detailed financial records
- Keep customers informed throughout the repair process, providing updates on progress and additional recommendations
- Maintain organized service records, work orders, and documentation for all transactions and repairs
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a dealership or automotive service environment is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand automotive repair processes and diagnostics
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information in a clear and approachable manner
- Experience in sales or upselling automotive services is a plus
- Basic cash handling skills with attention to detail for financial accuracy
- Knowledge of automotive parts, repairs, and dealership operations enhances success in this role
- Experience with Protractor software preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
