About the Role
AMP Capital Energy is looking for a curious, motivated Gas & Power Research Intern to join our team and help us build in-house expertise on Ontario's electricity and natural gas markets. This is a learning-focused internship — you don't need prior energy-market experience. If you're a strong researcher who's eager to dig into how Ontario's energy markets work, we'll teach you the rest.
You'll get hands-on exposure to real market participation, direct mentorship, and the chance to contribute to client advisory and platform strategy from day one.

- Keep an eye on regulatory changes, market notices, and policy shifts that affect energy costs for commercial and industrial customers
- Turn what you find into clear, concise briefings and summaries for the team
- Help build and maintain an organized knowledge base of market rules, pricing trends, and key contacts
