Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced AZ Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to transport freight across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining high safety standards. Duties
- Safely operate AZ licensed commercial trucks for Canada and USA freight deliveries
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or heavy equipment as needed
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly before transit
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during operations
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel to coordinate deliveries
Skills
- Valid AZ Commercial Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Experience with freight transportation and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and traffic regulations
- Excellent organizational skills for managing delivery schedules and documentation
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain professionalism on the road
