CGI Montréal is looking for a passionate Senior Project Manager (PM) with more than 10 years of experience managing IT projects in complex industrial environments. You will be responsible for leading multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously, ensure alignment among business, operational, and technology teams, and contribute to the adoption of innovative solutions that support the organization's digital transformation journey. Your future duties and responsibilities
- Lead major technology projects from initiation and definition through deployment and production rollout
- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable technology solutions
- Perform in-depth analysis of business processes, data flows, and operational impacts
- Ensure rigorous project governance, including scope, budget, schedule, risk, and quality management
- Coordinate activities among multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain high-quality project documentation and relevant performance metrics
- Identify risks, dependencies, and critical issues, and implement appropriate mitigation plans
- Guide and influence project teams through strong, engaging leadership
- Promote continuous improvement and the adoption of project management best practices
- Support digital transformation initiatives within complex industrial and manufacturing environments
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale IT projects
- Proven experience in industrial, manufacturing, or complex operational environments
- Strong background in business analysis, requirements management, and process improvement
- Demonstrated success delivering multidisciplinary projects involving multiple stakeholders
Technical Skills
- Excellent understanding of modern data architectures
- Experience with data and integration platforms such as Databricks
- Knowledge of industrial integration and data acquisition solutions such as HighByte
- Good understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Knowledge of OT/IT environments and the challenges associated with industrial systems integration
- Familiarity with cloud technologies, advanced analytics, and modern data platforms
Leadership and Soft Skills
- Natural leadership and strong ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and complex problem-solving abilities
- Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
- Ability to thrive in dynamic environments characterized by change and ambiguity
Languages
- French: native proficiency or full professional proficiency
- English: advanced level, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and partners
Nice-to-have:
- PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification
- Experience in the mining, manufacturing, or heavy industrial sectors
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0, Industrial IoT (IIoT), DataOps, and Smart Manufacturing initiatives
- Experience supporting large-scale digital transformation programs

CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is 80 000$ et 155 000$. This role is an existing vacancy.
