Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Caulking Applicator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying joint sealants across a range of projects, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Applying caulking as required on-site
- Operating hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment safely and efficiently
- Interpreting schematics, technical drawings, and project specifications to ensure accurate application
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and project standards
- Preparing surfaces prior to application and finishing surfaces post-application for optimal results
- Collaborating with team members to meet project deadlines and maintain workflow continuity
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment throughout the project duration
Experience
- Proven experience in caulking and joint sealant applications
- Construction trades are highly desirable
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment
- Knowledge of schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans
- Ability to read and interpret technical instructions accurately
- Previous work within a construction environment demonstrating attention to detail and safety consciousness
