Duties
- Assist customers in selecting flowers, plants, and gardening supplies while providing friendly and knowledgeable service
- Create and assemble floral arrangements for various occasions, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail
- Maintain the appearance of floral displays and plant sections through regular watering, pruning, and cleaning
- Stock shelves with fresh flowers, plants, gardening tools, and merchandise; ensure proper organization and merchandising standards
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about floral design, horticulture tips, and product availability
Qualifications
- Previous experience in floral design is required, at least 6 months experiences.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
- Knowledge of retail operations including POS systems, cashiering, stock management, and merchandising practices
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform retail math efficiently during busy periods
- Organizational skills to manage stock levels, maintain cleanliness, and ensure displays are attractive
- Passion for customer service with a friendly attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
