Langford, BC
We're growing up—and we're building our production team.
Beany Bites is a growing food brand making nutritious, and delightful snacks for BC families with young kids. As production ramps up, we're looking for team members to jump in and eventually grow into independent production staff.
If you want flexibility and autonomy this could be good opportunity
What You'll Be Doing
A typical shift will include a few of the following activities. The %s are roughly what portion of kitchen time is currently spent on each task.
- Cleaning & sanitation (~20%)
Keeping the kitchen, tools, and equipment clean and organized
Packing finished products with care and consistency
Washing, peeling, and slicing fruits and vegetables
Banana Tetris...
- Documentation (~10%)
- Maintaining accurate production and cleaning logs
- Receiving, inspecting, and logging deliveries
- Systems Development (~0-10%)
- If you have an idea to improve our process we'll let you build it.
Some tasks are independent (prep, packaging) and you may work solo, others are team-based.
Flexibility (What That Actually Means)
We're not hiring for full-time roles right now—but we are serious about building a business that supports our team, our customers kids, and our community on Vancouver Island.
- We will set what days are production days, but can offer flexible start and end times.
- Pick your shifts weekly (for now)
- Our approximate need: Roughly 8-15 hrs/Week
If you want structure and the ability to say "that doesn't work for me and my family, my schooling etc" this can be that.

As Beany Bites grows, team members will have the opportunity to:
- Take on more responsibility
- Access scheduled raises and equity opportunities
