Kinsol Timber Systems is a leader in the design and construction of timber structures, from craft joinery to tall wooden buildings. We are seeking to grow our team by adding carpenters in support of the execution of our work, both here on the Island and elsewhere.

As the most experienced members of a team, Journeyman Carpenters are expected to lead tasks for groups of Carpenters or Apprentice Carpenters and to support the Supervisor in the delegation and leadership of our work. As part of a larger group, the Carpenter is expected to collaborate with all team members by demonstrating a positive outlook, a willingness to listen, and a can-do attitude. The types of projects vary greatly, from cutting & erecting timber frames, to the preservation and repair of historic structures, to large commercial heavy and mass timber projects.
