Job Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various operational tasks across our work site, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic work environment. Prior experience is not required but is a plus, and a positive attitude is essential for success in this role. A valid Nova Scotia Drivers License in mandatory.
Duties
- Assist with loading and unloading materials and equipment
- Support the setup and breakdown of work sites or production areas
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance of work areas to ensure safety and efficiency
- Help with moving supplies, tools, or products as needed throughout the facility
- Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Support team members with various tasks as directed by supervisors
- Ensure all work complies with company standards and safety regulations
Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labour for extended periods
- Good communication skills to understand instructions and collaborate effectively with team members
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently
- Adaptability to perform a variety of tasks in different work environments
- Basic understanding of workplace safety practices (training provided if necessary)
- Prior experience in construction is advantageous but not mandatory
