Responsibilities:
- Create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, funerals, and special events
- Design and arrange flowers according to customer preferences and specifications
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their floral needs
- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and order new materials as needed
- Keep work area clean and organized. This includes daily cleaning tasks.
- Handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a floral designer is required
- Strong artistic skills and creativity in floral design
- Knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple orders and deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak seasons
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members
