SoilRocks Consulting Inc. is growing, and we’re looking for enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan as Drill Rig Operators/Technicians.

What We’re Looking For
- Willingness to work outdoors year-round across Saskatchewan.
- Mechanically inclined and able to lift heavy loads.
- A good driving record and valid Canadian driver’s license (Class 1 or G-Endorsement are assets).
- Willingness to travel frequently for out-of-town projects.
Training & Certifications (Assets)
Having any of the following certifications is an asset:
SCOT (including WHMIS 2015), Standard First Aid/CPR, LSE, Global Ground Disturbance I & II, H2S Alive, Hearing Protection, Respiratory Protection, General Mine Safety Awareness, G-Endorsement, or Class 1 License.
Experience in any of the following industries will also be considered an asset:
Drilling, hydraulics, electrical, highway or civil construction, building construction, mining, military, or farming.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe work environment, upholding SoilRocks’ “Safety First” culture.
- Professionally represent SoilRocks when interacting with clients and site teams.
- Identify and mitigate on-site hazards before starting work.
- Operate geotechnical and environmental drill rigs safely and efficiently.
- Supervise and support the drilling helper, vehicle, and tools.
- Ensure proper maintenance of rig, vehicles, and equipment.
- Perform field investigations as directed by project engineers or geologists.
- Keep drill sites organized, clean, and well-maintained.
- Communicate daily with your supervisor and team.

Requirements for New Drillers
- Passion for safety, teamwork, and customer service.
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid Canadian driver’s license with a clean record (Driver’s Abstract required annually).
- Physically fit and able to safely handle drill augers and tools (approx. 50–60 lbs).
- Willing to travel regularly outside Regina, SK.
- Strong work ethic and commitment to reliability.
- Willingness to undergo substance screening and physical fitness testing before employment.

Pay: $21.00-$45.00 per hour
