Stellar Scholar is looking to hire someone who can tutor in the subjects of Math and Science for PreK up to university for 1-12 hours per week. You must be able to tutor both subjects for all age levels.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required, should be relevant to Math or Science
Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector dated within the last six months
A willingness to communicate with clients to schedule appointments, send them reminders, and check in with them regularly
A passion for education, tutoring, and helping others succeed
You should also be flexible with your approaches; some clients may want to work on assignments, others may want you to create a lesson plan, and others still may just want to practice out of a workbook or something similar. You should be creative and willing to try new approaches to suit clients.
Looking for someone who is flexible, friendly, and reliable. You need to be a people person.
You must have at least one year of tutoring experience.
Wage per hour is $25-29/hour depending on level of experience, and is paid weekly.
2 professional references will be required if you are selected for an interview.
