We are currently seeking an EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR to join our Accounting Team.
As the successful candidate, your main focus will be the efficient and accurate processing of invoices and making payments followed by reciliation to the Aging Report.
Primary responsibilities will include entering of payroll hours and journal entries. Reconcile credit cards and provide reporting on same. Complete bank reconciliations along with GST and PST submissions and associated reports. Complete RRSP and DPSP submissions and related reporting.
To be successful in this role, you should have the following :
- Experience in all accounting functions required; namely journal entries (debit/credit)
- Experience with Microsoft programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access)
- Experience with accounting programs Sage and Siteline
- Strong attention to detail and work ethic
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a busy environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Norstar work schedule is Monday to Thursday 8-hour days (8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) with the possibility of progressing to full time of 40 hours per week. This is an on-site, in-office role.
