Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a DZ Roll-Off Driver for our Mississauga branch. This role involves the safe and timely delivery and pick-up of our rental equipment to and from customer job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of equipment, load securement, and manual transmission operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate roll-off trucks to transport aerial and material handling equipment to various locations.
- Secure loads using ratchet chains and binders to ensure safe transport.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain safety and compliance.
- Collaborate with dispatch and customers to ensure accurate and efficient deliveries.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
- Valid DZ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating a manual transmission, minimum 2 yrs (required).
- Basic knowledge of aerial and material handling equipment.
- Proficient in load securement techniques, including the use of ratchet chains and binders.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
