Pathways to Healing is a growing psychotherapy practice dedicated to providing high-quality, depth-oriented treatment for children, youth, and families impacted by complex trauma, attachment injuries, and relational challenges.
We are seeking a warm, skilled Child and Family Therapist who is passionate about trauma-informed care and interested in long-term professional growth within a supportive, consultation-based team environment.
We value clinicians who enjoy working collaboratively with parents and caregivers as part of the therapeutic process and who can maintain a strong virtual presence each week. This role requires evening and weekend availability to support family scheduling needs.
This is a long-term, values-aligned position for a clinician who wants to deepen their clinical skills within a specialized trauma and family-focused practice.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and families
- Offer parent support, guidance, and coaching when appropriate
- Work collaboratively with caregivers as part of the treatment process
- Maintain timely, professional clinical documentation in accordance with college standards
- Manage a caseload of approximately 12–15 clinical hours per week
- Participate in team consultation and collaborative care planning
What We’re Looking ForRequired Qualifications
- Registered Psychotherapist (CRPO) or Registered Social Worker (OCSWSSW) in good standing
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychotherapy, Counselling, or related field
- Two years Experience providing therapy to children, youth, and families
- Ability to work both virtually
- Professional liability insurance
Clinical Experience & Modalities (One or more preferred)
We are seeking clinicians with training or experience in:
- Play therapy or expressive therapy approaches
- CBT or DBT with children and adolescents
- Emotion-Focused Family Therapy (EFFT)
- Attachment-based and family systems approaches
- Parent coaching and caregiver support work
- EMDR and/or IFS (asset)
- Somatic or trauma-informed approaches
Additional experience with neurodivergence, OCD, LGBTQ+ affirming care, or developmental trauma is considered an asset.

Pay: $80.00-$105.00 per hour
Education:
- Master's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- working with teens: 2 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- registration with CRPO and OCSWSSW (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in North York, ON M2N 7L4
