Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Dishwasher/Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to ensure cleanliness and readiness for use
- Assist with basic meal preparation and food handling under supervision
- Support kitchen staff with food prep tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, or portioning meals
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and storage spaces in compliance with health and safety standards
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and adherence to sanitation protocols
- Restock supplies as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for daily operations
- Follow all food safety guidelines to prevent contamination and ensure a safe dining environment
Skills
- Experience or familiarity with cooking, food preparation, or the food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and food safety standards is a plus
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining hygiene standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while supporting team members
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude toward teamwork
- Prior kitchen or food industry experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential
