We are currently in search of a dedicated and experienced Sales Professional to join our team in Mississauga as a Freight Forwarding Business Development Specialist. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in driving our international ocean, air, and road freight forwarding operations. Your responsibilities will include identifying potential clients, securing new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with our current clientele. Furthermore, you will be entrusted with the task of presenting innovative products and services to our esteemed clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand our global ocean, air, and road freight forwarding operations.
- Foster and maintain strong connections with our existing clientele.
- Introduce and highlight our newest products and services to valued clients.
- Consistently maintain high standards of customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the freight forwarding or logistics sector.
- Proven and successful track record in freight forwarding in Air, Sea, or Road Freight Forwarding.
- Solid understanding of the transportation industry.
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
