Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in creating a welcoming environment for guests, ensuring smooth service operations, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail in food safety and sanitation. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure you succeed in this role. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive guest services to enhance their dining experience
- Take orders accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS, and process transactions efficiently with cash handling skills
- Serve food and beverages promptly while upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
- Handle guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to ensure positive guest experiences
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred; hospitality or guest services experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, is desirable
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively during peak hours
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures in the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
