Junior Pilates Instructor (Bilingual Chinese & English preferred)
A new boutique Pilates studio at Capstan Station in Richmond in late Summer (late August) 2026.
The ideal candidate is fluent in English, has 2-4 year of experience teaching Pilates locally in Richmond and Vancouver, and is committed to delivering exceptional client experiences through high-quality instruction and personalized guidance.
As our Richmond studio is currently under construction, practical interviews and teaching assessments will be conducted at our sister company, Three Step Fitness & Pilates Physio Clinic in Coquitlam. www.threestepfitness.com
Pay: $40-$50/hr + commission
Duties
- Lead engaging and safe Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels
- Demonstrate proper techniques and modifications to ensure client safety and effectiveness
- Provide personalized guidance and support to clients during sessions
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages motivation and confidence
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the studio equipment and space
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding class schedules, progress, and feedback
- Assist with client inquiries, bookings, and customer service needs
- Collaborate with senior instructors to develop new class formats and improve existing programs
- Manage time efficiently to ensure punctuality for all scheduled classes
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Pilates teaching experience
- Proficiency in English; Chinese language skills are a plus for bilingual communication.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and client engagement
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for health, wellness, and helping others achieve their fitness goals
- Reliable, professional, and committed to continuous learning and development
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with rehabilitation, postural correction, or fitness-focused clientele
- Additional certifications in fitness, kinesiology, rehabilitation, or movement education
- Experience using reformers, chairs, towers, and other Pilates apparatus
